EXACTLY i agree 100 000% …. :’( i’m pissed with him for that, i’m sad because of that….disappointed…disappointed in him…feeling betrayed…
Thought he was always gonna be there. thought he would always represent us- the uncool ones,the ugly ones, us who are the black sheep ….
but nope. the time came when he decided he didn’t want that anymore, now he wants to be THE COOL ONE, now he wants to be the STAR, the diva……….. and just like that he cut us all off….i mean…whatevever. But thanks to him i used to feel that it was OKAY to be different, that it was okay to be ugly and a misfit, that it was okay to be uncool.
…and now he goes and throws all of this away to try and be cool. The one person who used to teach me i didn’t need that.
I’m sorry if because of this i seem like i don’t support him, but nope, i don’t support this attitude….it was the old attitude that made me love him, admire him and be grateful to him for the rest of my life.
If this is what he wants now, okay….but i can’t look at him the same way. There’ll be always a special place for him ihn my heart…but it’s the past Gerard i’ll forever love. Not this absurd version of him. :( i’m sorry i’m just so disappointed…..i’m so so sorry…
I agree with it.
Gerard is one of the artists who most inspired me, I’m very proud of him and he will always be special to me. I as a student of art, with great references make me rise hopeful in this way.
But I don’t need to agree with everything he does and don’t even have to like it.
He even said that MCR broke up ,among other reasons,because he wanted to live more of their family life and make more comics and new artistic projects. But in less than a year, he decided to start a solo career, touring and an album, and he contradict himself again. As in every interview I’ve seen him lately.
So, I say, to respect those who did not like the solo career of Gerard, Frank, Mikey, or Ray.
Not all MCR fans will enjoy the different projects, never like something out of obligation, like it when you really build something really special with the inspiration you get from it.
